Washington University names business school dean

Washington University picked the dean of Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom to take over its business school.

Effective Dec. 1, Mark Taylor will become dean of the St. Louis university's John M. Olin Business School.

He'll succeed Mahendra Gupta, who announced earlier this year he would step down June 30.

Serving in the interim will be Kurt Dirks, senior associate dean.
