Washington University chancellor to retire

Washington University Chancellor Mark Wrighton has put in place a retirement plan.

The chancellor of the St. Louis college plans to retire no later than July 1, 2019, after two decades leading the school.

Through his planned retirement date, Wrighton wants to oversee the finalization of a $2.5 billion fundraising effort.
