Warner Bros. Discovery shareholders are seemingly at odds with the company when it comes to executive pay.
Nearly 60% of shareholders voted Tuesday to symbolically reject 2024 executive payouts. That includes CEO David Zaslav’s compensation package of more than $50 million.
"The compensation committee of the board looks forward to continuing its regular practice of engaging in constructive dialogue with our shareholders," Warner Bros. Discovery officials said in a statement.
