Warhol’s ‘Marilyn’ auction sets record

Andy Warhol’s “Shot Sage Blue Marilyn” sold for $195 million at auction.

The portrait of Marilyn Monroe is now the most expensive work by a U.S. artist ever sold at auction.

The piece also is the most expensive from the 20th century ever auctioned, according to Christie’s auction house.
