WannaCry ransomware causes Honda plant to shut down

Honda Motor Co. shut down one of its Japanese plants this week because of the WannaCry ransomware.

The company's plant in Sayama, just outside Toykyo, manufactures the Accord, Odyssey and Step Wagon models. It produces over 1,000 vehicles per day.

Production at other plants wasn't affected.
