The Walton family this month announced plans for a STEM university at the former Walmart headquarters.
The school would provide STEM education for innovators, builders and entrepreneurs at the Bentonville, Arkansas, campus, officials said.
The university is expected to accommodate up to 1,500 undergraduate students and 500 nondegree learners.
