The Walt Disney Co. is tightening its theme park rules.
Smoking or vaping no longer will be allowed in Walt Disney World, Disneyland and other parks. Customers will be able to smoke in certain locations outside the parks' entrances. The prior rule allowed smoking in designated areas in the parks.
“As we expand our offerings, we will continue to take steps to enhance the guest experience and make it more enjoyable for everyone who visits," a Disney spokeswoman said in an emailed statement.
Also banned are oversized strollers. Both policy changes take effect May 1.
