Walmart on Thursday announced earnings per share of $1.08 in the third quarter, higher than the $1.01 analysts expected.
Revenue, however, came in at $124.9 billion, below forecasts of $125.5 billion.
During the quarter, same-store sales rose 3.4 percent and e-commerce sales climbed 32 percent.
