Walmart is planning to launch a membership service that would compete with Amazon Prime, Recode reports.
Sources familiar with the matter told Recode the subscription service, called Walmart+, would launch later this month.
At $98 per year, the service would include same-day delivery of groceries and general merchandise, discounts on fuel and early access to product deals, the sources said.
