A Silicon Valley company filed suit against Walmart over alleged technology theft.
In the suit, Zest Labs and its parent company seek $2 billion in damages.
Zest claims Walmart's so-called Eden technology meant to preserve fruit and vegetable freshness "looks, sounds and functions" like its own Zest Fresh technology.
Zest previously worked with Walmart for years on Zest Fresh before the retailer lost interest last November, according to the suit.
