Customers making more than $100,000 annually are fueling growth in sales at Walmart, company officials say.
During the most recent quarter, U.S. sales at stores open for at least a year grew 5.3% year over year.
Households making more than $100,00 a year accounted for 75% of the gains, Walmart officials said.
