Walmart followed Dick's Sporting Goods by announcing it was raising the minimum age for gun buyers to 21.
Officials with Walmart, the biggest gun seller in the nation, said the chain also would stop selling items resembling assault-style rifles, including toys and air guns.
Both retailers indicated the moves were in response to the Parkland, Florida, school shooting.
