Walmart raises full-year outlook

Walmart announced it's raising its full-year outlook as part of its quarterly report.

The retailer now expects net sales growth between 4% and 5% for the year. The previous estimate was between 3.5% and 4.5%.

For the recently passed quarter, Walmart reported net income of $6.4 billion. That compares with $7 billion a year earlier.
