Walmart is launching its first private-label insulin brand.
The product called ReliOn NovoLog will retail at $73 for analog insulin vials and $86 for FlexPens. That equates to savings of 58% and 75%, respectively, on branded insulin products without using insurance.
"This price point, we hope, will improve and hopefully revolutionize the accessibility and affordability of insulin," said Cheryl Pegus, executive vice president of Walmart health and wellness.
