Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-Vermont, is calling on Walmart to pay its 1.5 million workers more money.
“The wealth of the Walton family, the owners of Walmart, increased more than 9,000 percent since 1982,” Sanders tweeted. “Walmart still doesn’t pay their workers a living wage. This is what a rigged economy is all about."
Sanders previously targeted McDonald's and Amazon for their financial treatment of employees.
