Walmart is exploring the potential of transforming a Supercenter in Lee's Summit into a "reimagined" town center.
Delia Garcia, senior director of communications for Walmart, said the company is looking for developers in the early stages of the idea.
"Whether a project materializes over time, however, depends largely on identifying the right real estate developers and gaining community support for this innovative development approach,” she said.
The idea calls on open spaces, entertainment and retail.
