Walmart is appealing a case to the U.S. Supreme Court in a bid to sell liquor in Texas.
The Fifth Circuit Court covering Texas recently denied the company's case. Walmart reportedly has faced roadblocks in Texas, where opponents of the retailer selling alcohol are looking to keep liquor stores owned by state residents.
Walmart is appealing to the Supreme Court over a clause in the Constitution that bans states from discriminating against interstate or international commerce.
