Walmart, Anthem partner for over-the-counter drugs

Health insurance plan provider Anthem and Walmart are launching an over-the-counter drug program.

Through the collaboration, Anthem's Medicare Advantage plan customers can use allowances to buy certain medications.

“Creating a better health care future requires us to think differently about how we can develop innovative and meaningful health care solutions for consumers," said Felicia Norwood, executive vice president and president of the government business division for Anthem.
