Wall Street’s least favorite regulator calls it quits

Thomas Hoenig, vice chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., is exiting the organization after joining it in 2012.

According to Bloomberg, Hoenig is among regulators Wall Street loves to hate.

Hoenig is a free-market conservative who often agrees with pro-regulation causes.
