Wall Street looks to snap five-day slump

U.S. stock-index futures pointed higher on Thursday as the S&P 500 looked to put its longest losing streak since December behind it, according to Fox News.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 21 points this morning, S&P 500 futures gained 2.8 points and Nasdaq 100 futures increased by 13 points.

Fox News reports the S&P 500 has fallen as traders worry about the fiscal showdown in Washington, D.C.
