Wall Street Journal takes inside look at Johnny Morris

Following yesterday's announcement that Bass Pro Shops would buy rival Cabela's for $5.5 billion, The Wall Street Journal examined billionaire founder Johnny Morris.

Citing the Springfield Business Journal and the Springfield News-Leader, the journal wrote about Morris starting out at his father's liquor store and building the Bass Pro empire to nearly 100 stores with 20,000 workers.

In citing SBJ, the journal said Morris' father cosigned a $10,000 loan to help him start his fishing business.
