Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker plans to sign a bill today that would provide nearly $3 billion in incentives to Taiwanese firm Foxconn Technology Group.
The legislation called the Wisconn Valley Special Session Bill is meant to lure Foxconn into building a $10 billion plant in the state. The facility could employ as many as 13,000 people.
The incentive package is said to be the largest in U.S. history offered by a state to a foreign corporation.
