Wal-Mart to switch to all cage-free eggs

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. announced yesterday plans to phased out the sale of eggs from caged hens by 2025.

The company becomes the larest to set a deadline on switching to cage-free eggs.

The policy would apply to Wal-Mart's more than 5,000 U.S. stores, including its Sam's Club warehouse chain.
