Wal-Mart to cut health benefits for some part-timers

Posted online
Bentonville, Ark.-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT) announced Tuesday it would cut health insurance benefits for many workers who log in less than 30 hours a week.

Wal-Mart is partnering with HealthCompare, a third-party specialist, to assist affected employees in finding a suitable alternative for health insurance.
