Wal-Mart rolls out a week of free shipping ahead of Prime Day

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is taking aim at Amazon’s Prime Day.

Tomorrow is Prime Day, Amazon’s self-invented holiday that offers exclusive deals for members of its subscription service.

Today, Wal-Mart is waiving its $50 minimum spending requirement for free shipping of online orders over the next week. It’s also slashing prices on a handful of products.
