Wal-Mart Stores Inc. plans to add online grocery orders at 1,000 more U.S. stores starting next year.
At the end of this year, customers who order produce, poultry and other household items at Walmart.com will be able to pick up their purchases at 1,100 stores.
The company is predicting a 40 percent increase in its U.S. e-commerce sales in the next fiscal year.
