Wal-Mart challenges Amazon Prime

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is close to testing an unlimited shipping service that will cost $50 a year, challenging Amazon.com’s Prime program.

The Wal-Mart service is expected to roll out this summer. Through the program, customers would receive no-cost shipping on over 1 million items via Walmart.com, according to Fox Business.

Amazon Prime costs $99 a year for free two-day shipping, as well as other services, such as streaming movies, TV shows and music.
