Volvo plans to go fully electric by 2030

Volvo Cars announced plans to go fully electric by 2030.

In switching to all-electric vehicles, the company intends to phase out car models with internal combustion engines, including hybrids.

"There is no long-term future for cars with an internal combustion engine," said Henrik Green, Volvo's chief technology officer.
