Vista Outdoor buys Camp Chef for $74M

Vista Outdoor Inc. announced today the acquisition of privately owned Camp Chef for $74 million.

With the purchase, Vista gains Camp Chef's camp stoves, barbecue mills, pellet grills and other outdoor cooking equipment, as well as cast-iron cookware and accessories.

"Camp Chef strengthens our leadership position in outdoor recreation," Vista CEO Mark DeYoung said in a statement.

Based out of Utah, Vista is a publicly traded manufacturer of outdoor sports and recreation products.
