Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo crashes, one pilot killed

Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo space tourism rocket crashed during a test flight over the Mojave Desert Friday, killing one of the two pilots aboard and seriously injuring the other.

The cause of the crash has not been determined, though an officials confirmed an "inflight anomaly" had taken place two minutes after SpaceShipTwo was released from WhiteKnightTwo, the 'mothership' plane that carries it to a high altitude, according to Fox News.

It's not immediately clear what impact the crash will have on Virgin Galactic's space tourism project.
