Virgin Atlantic signs $4.4B order for aircraft

Virgin Atlantic signed a deal to buy 12 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft in a $4.4 billion deal.

The aircraft will be powered by Rolls-Royce engines.

The airline will buy eight of the planes from Airbus and lease four from Air Lease Corp.
