Vintage ‘Super Mario Bros.’ game sells for $114K at auction

A sealed copy of "Super Mario Bros." brought in $114,000 at auction.

That makes it the highest-selling video game at auction to date. The previous record of $100,000 also was set by a sealed copy of the 1985 game.

Heritage Auctions’ event Friday brought in more than $699,000 selling sealed Nintendo games.
