Nashville, Tennessee-based American Blue Ribbon Holdings, the parent company of the Village Inn restaurant chain, filed for bankruptcy.
As part of the bankruptcy, American Blue announced the closure of 33 Village Inn and Bakers Square restaurants.
The Springfield News-Leader reports the local Village Inn restaurants are not impacted.
