Verizon's Q1 earnings fall 20%

Verizon Communications posted a 20 percent drop in quarterly earnings.

Net income attributable to the company was $3.5 billion, down from $4.3 billion in the first quarter of 2016.

Revenue dropped to $29.8 billion from $32.2 billion.
