Verizon to buy Straight Path for $3.1B

Verizon Communications Inc. agreed to buy Straight Path Communications for $3.1 billion.

Verizon also plans to pay a $38 million termination fee to AT&T on behalf of Straight Path.

The company received a takeover bid from AT&T last month.
