Venezuela has less than $10B left in foreign reserves

Venezuela's foreign reserves fell to their lowest point in more than 20 years.

The funds meant to weather tough economic times dropped below $10 billion for the first time since 1995.

The news came on the same day voters unofficially came out against President Nicolas Maduro's plans to replace the opposition-led National Assembly with a "constituent assembly" that would act as a rubber stamp for his agenda. An official vote is scheduled July 30.
