Vatterott College's computer-aided drafting training is now available via the Internet. The college's distance education program is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. Vatterott also offers complete diploma and associate's degree programs in computer programming online, according to a news release from the college.|ret||ret||tab|
The online program is available to students who first complete the Computer-Aided Drafting diploma program at a Vatterott College campus. The additional 30-weeks of training in the program will earn students an Associate of Occu-pational Studies degree.|ret||ret||tab|

Online students have the option of experiencing real-time lectures synchronized with live classroom teaching or can view lectures recorded and posted on the Internet at their own convenience. In-structors and students maintain close in-teraction through e-mail, bulletin boards and professional chat rooms. Students are graded on their frequent online exercises and exams.|ret||ret||tab|
Vatterott's computer-aided drafting programs prepare students for entry-level employment in the residential, mechanical and commercial sectors of the drafting industry. A drafter's role is to provide technical drawings and plans using specialized software.|ret||ret||tab|
