Vans Inc. filed suit against Target Corp. for allegedly knocking off their trademark Old Skool sneakers.
Vans is seeking the full profits Target has made on its Camella Lace-Up shoes. It's also seeking an order for Target to stop selling the shoes, along with any merchandise that resembles Vans' “side stripe.”
"At Target, we have a deep appreciation and respect for design rights. We’re aware of the lawsuit filing and have been in contact with our vendor, who is looking into the claims," a spokesperson for Target said.
