VA announces location for Joplin clinic

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is planning an outpatient clinic at 3015 S. Connecticut Ave. in Joplin.

Projected to open in late 2018, the 20,585-square-foot clinic will provide primary care, mental health and laboratory services.

The clinic will operate alongside one under construction in Springfield to cover southwest Missouri. When the two are completed, the Gene Taylor Outpatient Clinic in Mount Vernon will close.
