According to a news release, the application shows that North Suburban Public Utility Co. owns the capital stock of The Meadows Water Co., which serves approximately 1,115 water customers and 278 sewer customers in Willard and the surrounding area.
The city of Willard already handles much of its own water and sewer service, according to City Clerk Kathy Blakemore, and the Meadows acquisition would be an expansion of that management.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed on or before May 23 with the Missouri Public Service Commission. Copies of the application should be sent to: Mark W.
