Utah ‘barn' estate listed for bargain at $19M

Posted online
A 20,000-square-foot home and 20 acres of farmland near Salt Lake City is listed for sale at less than half the reported development cost.

Built 12 years ago for $32 million by Kerry Asay, the co-founder of Morinda Inc. and its Tahitian noni juice product, is now for sale by Sotheby’s International Realty for $19 million, according to Yahoo Real Estate. Overlooking a pond and with views of snow-capped mountains, the pristine barn-like home has a movie theater created by Disney Studios staff and the property includes  a “little red schoolhouse” and a “storybook treehouse,” Yahoo reports.

With nine bedrooms and 20 bathrooms, it’s believed to be the largest residence in Utah.
