He grew up a Los Angeles Rams’ fan and thought he might build a fan site about the glory days, but never did.
Rapid City, S.D., used car salesman Brian Busch bought the LosAngelesRams.com domain name in 1997, two years after the team moved to St. Louis.
Now that the NFL has announced the Rams are heading back to L.A., it appears that domain could be very valuable. Busch reportedly said he’s spend about $1,000 to $2,000 maintaining the site over the past 19 years.
While its unclear what the site is worth, last February, Major League Baseball bought Rangers.com from Future Media Architects for $375,000. Both LARams.com and Rams.com are already owned.
