The U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a $10 million grant for the completion of a St. Louis-area beef processing plant.
Green Bay, Wisconsin-based American Foods Group secured the funding for its $800 million, 775,000-square-foot facility that's underway in Warren County.
The plant is slated to open early next year.
