US warns Samsung washing machine owners after explosion reports

Samsung has another exploding product issue on its hands.

U.S. regulators yesterday warned owners of certain top-loading Samsung washing machines of "safety issues" following reports that some have exploded. The warning covered machines made between March 2011 and April of this year, though a specific model was not disclosed.

Samsung is currently recalling some 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 smartphones after reports of their batteries exploding or catching fire.
