The U.S. unemployment rate in August remained at 3.9 percent, near an 18-year low.
During the month, payroll ranks rose by 201,000 jobs, more than the 191,000 jobs analysts predicted.
August marked the 95th straight month U.S. employers have added jobs, according to Dow Jones.
