The U.S. trade deficit widened in March, according to data released this week by the Census Bureau and Bureau of Economic Analysis.
The deficit in March rose 14% to $140.5 billion from a revised $123.2 billion in February.
Economists were expecting a March deficit of $137.6 billion.
