US sues D-Link, alleges lax security in routers, cameras

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission filed suit yesterday against Taiwanese manufacturer D-Link Corp.

The suit alleges D-Link's routers and internet-linked security cameras are susceptible to hackers.

The company said in a statement it would "vigorously defend itself against the unwarranted and baseless charges".
