U.S. Steel to cut 750 nonunion jobs

U.S. Steel plans to cut 750 nonunion jobs in North America.

The layoffs represent about 25 percent of the Pittsburgh, Pa.-based company's nonunion workforce.

The company has 21,000 employees in North America, about 18,000 of which are represented by the United Steelworkers union.
