U.S. Soccer offers identical contracts for men's, women's teams

The U.S. Soccer Federation has offered identical contracts to the men's and women's teams.

"U.S. Soccer firmly believes that the best path forward for all involved, and for the future of the sport in the United States, is a single pay structure for both senior national teams," officials said.

U.S. Soccer and the women's national team have been embroiled in a battle for years over equal pay.
