The Trump administration announced it will lower the annual cap on refugees to 18,000 for the fiscal year that starts Oct. 1.
That's down from 30,000 this fiscal year and 110,000 two years ago.
President Donald Trump also signed an executive order that allows state and local authorities to block refugees from settling in their areas, according to Vox.
